Probationary vacancy with Rotterdam-Mohonasen Central School District, 2072 Curry Road, Schenectady, NY 12303. Special Education Teacher, at Pinewood Intermediate School. Salary as per contract. Responsibilities:Provide consultation to classroom teachers on inclusive practices, differentiated instruction, and accommodations/modifications.Develop, implement, and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs).Deliver direct ELA and Math instruction to students with special needs in small group settings.Coordinate and collaborate with teaching assistants, therapists (e.g., speech, occupational, behavioral), and other support staff.Conduct assessments and gather data to inform programming and support eligibility decisions.Assist in planning and supporting student transitions (e.g., between grades, schools, or into community programs).Ensure compliance with local, state/provincial, and federal special education regulations and policies.Maintain accurate records and documentation in a timely and confidential manner.
