Duties: Provide a comprehensive guidance and counseling program for the PTECH/PROPEL programs at the Rome MVCC Campus for students grades 9-12. Maintain open communication with home school districts counselors and Special Education Staff; oversee enrollments and academics progress to include attendance and report cards; schedule student visitations and tours; and provide academic and personal counseling; assist with college and career readiness.Teach two college level psychology courses to students in 11/12th grade in accordance with Mohawk Valley Community College’s guidelines, policies, and procedures.Qualifications: Must possess New York State Certification as a School Counselor.
