Duties: Duties include direct instruction, testing/assessment, maintaining accurate record keeping and accountability for student achievement and retention. Seeking candidates with experience teaching and ability to work with a diverse adult population to deliver basic academic skill instruction as well as high school equivalency preparation; comfortable teaching adults who may have learning difficulties. Candidates must be self-disciplined and able to work within a team and independently.Qualifications: Bachelor and/or Masters Degree in Education; NYS Teacher Certification or Adult Education Certification preferred.Location of Position: Rome-Strough Middle SchoolTerm of Employment: Part-time Evenings-7 hours a week, Monday and Wednesday Evenings 4pm-7pm (flexible)Salary: Range-$25-$29 per hour depending on experience and certificationStarting Date: November 2023Apply on OLAS
