Duties: Responsibilities include guiding adult learners to meet their individual educational goals through programs such as high school equivalency (GED) preparation, employment preparation classes, and/or classes for English Language Learners; collaboration with instructors; maintaining current and accurate testing/assessment measures to account for student achievement using a computer database; outreach to and communication with community-based partners to support student needs. Seeking a candidate with Case Management experience who can work with a diverse adult and out-of-school youth population and a team of professionals to support student success.Qualifications: Experience working with Adult education programs preferred. The position requires a BS/BA in a human service related field; or AA/AS in human services related field and minimum of 6 months related work experience. Candidate must be willing to obtain Adult Education Certification.Location of Position: BOCES Consortium of Continuing Education, Utica ACCESS Site, 508 Second St. Utica, NY 13501Term of Employment: Full time with benefitsSalary: Dependent upon education and experienceStarting Date: February-March 2024
