Duties: The Instructional Technology Integration Specialist will assist administrators and teachers in the acceleration of learning through the integration of technology in schools. The primary focus of the position is to provide professional development support to enrich teaching and learning through the incorporation of technology into daily instruction.In this role, candidates assist in the development and implementation of curriculum and technology integration projects, working side-by-side with classroom teachers and instructional leaders across the region.Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Using technologies to support instructionIntegrating new technologies into classroom practicesDiscovering new uses for classroom technology toolsFocusing on cooperative, project-based, and interdisciplinary work with technology being just one of the many tools that students use.Job requires some travel between school districts for training and support within a five-county radius (Madison, Oneida, Herkimer, Jefferson and Lewis Counties).Qualifications: NYS Teacher Certification preferred.
