Duties: Seeking a part-time, secondary (grades 5-12) online learning instructor with New York State certification, highlighting expertise in differentiated instruction to enhance students learning in virtual environments. The successful candidate will provide daily synchronous online learning support to Virtual Learning Service Students during normal school hours (approximately 3 hours of instruction per day with the potential of more hours.The MORIC currently offers component districts a variety of online courses taught by NYS-certified teachers that feature rigorous, interactive formats that allow for individualized learning.Qualifications: Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in an education-related field, NYS certification required, special education teaching experience preferred.Location of Position: Mohawk Regional Information CenterTerm of Employment: Part-time with the potential to go full-timeSalary: HourlyStarting Date: February 1st, 2024
