The Minerva Central School District is accepting applications for the position of school nurse. This position follows the 10-month school district instructional calendar. The candidate is expected to be highly organized, confidential, collaborative, and professional.General Job Responsibilities include:Communicate with parents and staff regarding health needs and concerns;Consult with staff members concerning a variety of health factors related to non-attendance and communicable disease;Physical, visual and auditory screening examinations of students;Administer medication (as ordered by physician) according to regulations and policy;Administer first aid and emergency treatment to students and employees;Complete and file accident/incident reports as appropriate;Management of student health records and NYSED Health Guidelines/Regulations;Maintains an inventory of health office supplies and equipment;Minimum Qualifications: Possession of a license and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
