Position – Full-Time Elementary Instrumental Music Teacher:One full-time tenure-track position beginning in September 2024Salary & Benefits pursuant to MTA Agreement. Certification:NYS Music K-12 certification (required) The successful candidate will:Have teaching experience, especially with elementary music instruction;Have general music teaching experience;Ability to work with a variety of instrumental performance groups;Have good classroom management skills, especially for large group instruction;Be positive, enthusiastic, & have a broad depth of knowledge of instructional strategies;Work collaboratively with other teachers;Identify & participate in opportunities to expand his/her skills through professional development;Willingness to work with school musical and/or drama productions.
