TESOL Teaching Position Job Description: Full-time, tenure track position beginning immediately; Salary & benefits pursuant to MTA Agreement; Have teaching experience; Utilize an inquiry-based approach to teaching; Be positive, enthusiastic, & have a broad depth of knowledge of instructional strategies; Create differentiated lessons that address individual student learning styles via formative data; Understand the special education process and can successfully demonstrate various effective co-teaching models; Be able to utilize data to target instruction to provide targeted intervention and enrichment promote academic student growth Promote social-emotional learning that aligns with positive character education development; Use technology to enhance & augment instruction; Provide equitable and culturally competent learning practices; Align instruction to the Next Generation Science Standards; Collaborate with colleagues to promote successful academic strategies across content areas; Identify & participate in opportunities to expand skills through professional development Invest in the Millbrook Educational community through activities outside of the classroom in an area of student interest (preferred). Certification: NYS English to Speakers of Other Languages certification (required).
