The Millbrook Central School District is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced interim School Business Administrator or School Business Leader. Millbrook Central School District is approximately 75 miles north of New York City and about 60 miles south of Albany in the scenic Mid-Hudson Valley. There are four schools, all located in the Village of Millbrook: Elm Drive Elementary (PK - 2), Alden Place Elementary (3-5), Millbrook Middle School (6-8), and Millbrook High School (9-12). The enrollment for all grades PK-12 is approximately 850 students. We are seeking an administrator with a strong knowledge of school finance & accounting, auditing, budget development, capital project planning, financial planning, school food services, and transportation. The candidate must hold the appropriate NYSED certification such as School Business Administrator or School Business Leader with at least five years of experience in school finance and supervision of the Business Office functions. Duties: Lead and manage the finances of the district, assist the Superintendent in interpretation, preparation and development of the budget, provide supervision/direction to the Business Office, food services, assist in capital projects, transportation liaison, and other duties as determined by the Superintendent of Schools.
