DATE: March 19, 2026 EFFECTIVE DATE OF ASSIGNMENT: September 1, 2026 LOCATION: TBD STARTING SALARY: $57,925.00 - $95,000.00 DOE + Competitive salary/benefit package REQUIRED CERTIFICATION: • A valid New York State teaching certificate (or pending) in Elementary Education B-6. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES OF POSITION: • Make decisions in the best interests of students. • Work collaboratively and take individual responsibility for student learning. • Collaborate with your team working interdependently to achieve common goals for which all members are mutually accountable. • Implement a guaranteed and viable curriculum, unit by unit, so all students have access to the same knowledge and skills regardless of the teacher they are assigned. • Implement common formative assessments to frequently gather evidence of student learning. • Provide students with interventions and extensions to ensure each student who struggles receive additional time and support for learning in a way that is timely, directive, diagnostic, and systematic, and for each student who demonstrates proficiency can extend their learning. • Use evidence of student learning to inform and improve your individual and team practices.
