SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER – Certified Position, Full Time, 10-month position, McGraw Secondary School Special Education Teacher – Secondary Life Skills (12:1+3:1) ProgramDUTIES: Provide individualized instruction in a secondary Life Skills program for students with developmental delays in a 12:1+3:1 special class. This includes implementing standards-based and life-skills-based curricula aligned to student IEPs, including instruction in ELA, math, community skills, and transition-related areas. The teacher will maintain a structured and supportive classroom environment; collaborate with teaching assistants and related service providers; implement positive behavior supports; collect and document student progress data; participate in CSE meetings and IEP development; communicate with families; and ensure compliance with all state and federal special education regulations.
