Notice of Anticipated Vacancy June 18, 2026 Cleaner Munsey Park This position is available July 13, 2026 Position Description: The successful candidate has a demonstrated ability to perform cleaning and caring for school buildings. Responsibilities: Clean and disinfect classrooms, offices, hallways, restrooms and common areas. Sweeps, mop, strip, and wax floors. Dusts woodwork, furniture, and other articles. Washes windows, doors, and walls. Move and arrange furniture and equipment as needed. Replace light bulbs, towels, soap and other supplies. Remove trash and recyclables. Assist with room setups (events, meetings, school functions). May be assigned to other labor tasks as required. Qualifications: New York State fingerprint clearance and Civil Service approval required. Salary as per MESPA contract. This is a full-time, 12-month position with hours of 10:30am – to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday.
