Notice of Vacancy December 15, 2023 Priority Substitute Teaching Assistant Shelter Rock Elementary SchoolThis position is available January 16, 2024 Position Description: The district is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual devoted to helping all students reach their full potential. The successful candidate is child centered with strong collaboration and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work with students with disabilities at the Elementary level. Prior experience implementing behavior intervention plans as well as experience working with students in a special class and in integrated co-teaching settings preferred. Qualifications: Appropriate New York State Teaching Assistant Certification is required. This is a full-time, 10-month position with hours of 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
