Notice of Anticipated VacancySeptember 2, 2025 Full-Time School Monitor Shelter Rock Elementary SchoolThis position is available September 26, 2025 Position Description: The successful candidate is motivated, engaging, and child centered with a demonstrated ability to work with students at the Elementary school level. This position is a front desk greeter, responsible for following the school protocols for allowing visitors in and out of the school building. The candidate will assist with changes in student dismissals. Qualifications: New York State fingerprint clearance is required. The is a 10-month position with hours of 7:30 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. Strong communication skills and prior experience supervising elementary students preferred. The candidate must possess basic computer skills, which include navigating Google Drive, Excel and Microsoft Word. Salary as per MESPA contract.
