Notice of Anticipated Vacancy Director of Facilities III This position is available December 10, 2024 Position Description: The Director for Facilities III will be responsible for the supervision over the physical plant of the School District. This includes the efficient and economical care, operation, and maintenance, consonant with the safety and health of pupils, teachers, and others lawfully entering or using the premises. The Director for Facilities III will be responsible for supervising and training the custodial, grounds, maintenance and security staff.Director for Facilities III will be responsible for:Recruitment, investigation and recommendation for employment of applicants for positions.Maintain records of the training records, including participation attendance and training dates.Prepares department budget for equipment, supplies and materials.Collaborate with Building Principals to determine capital improvement and maintenance priorities for each building.Collaborate with the District Architect in planning and overseeing all building projects, including the bidding process.Responsible for any other related duties which, from time to time, the Assistant Superintendent for Business, Superintendent of Schools and the Board of Education may deem necessary.Qualifications: Civil Service Clearance Qualified candidates should apply by November 11, 2024, via OLAS, with a letter of interest, andresume to: Dina Maggiacomo Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources Manhasset Public Schools 200 Memorial Place Manhasset, New York 11030 An equal opportunity employer
