Notice of Vacancy February 12, 2024 Full-time/Substitute Special Education Teaching Assistant Shelter Rock Elementary SchoolThis position is available March 4, 2024 Position Description: The district is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual devoted to helping all students reach their full potential. The successful candidate is a child-centered educator who has the ability to differentiate instruction and is comfortable with the use of technology. Prior experience implementing behavior intervention plans as well as experience working with students in a special class and in integrated co-teaching settings preferred. Qualifications: Appropriate New York State Teaching Assistant Certification is required. This is a full-time, 10-month position with hours of 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
