Notice of Anticipated VacancyMay 2, 2023 Math Department Teaching Assistant Grades 7-12 Math DepartmentManhasset Secondary School This probationary position is available September 1, 2023 Position Description: The District is seeking a child -centered, motivated, and enthusiastic individual who will assist students visiting the math lab for math support. They will proctor make-up classroom exams, assist in preparation of testing materials for state exams for grades 7-12, and oversee math department textbook, calculator, and supply inventory. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented while maintaining accurate records for the math department and will assist in additional tasks assigned by the Director of Mathematics. This individual will join a team of collaborative educators devoted to helping all students reach their full potential. Qualifications: Appropriate New York State Teaching Assistant certification required. This is a full time, 10-month position. Salary as per MESPA contract.
