REQUIREMENTS: JV coach is responsible for all aspects of the JV team, including but not limited to:Attending scheduled pre-season meeting with Athletic Director and Assistant Athletic Director Knowledge of sport fundamentals.Adhering to NYSPHSAA, Section 1, school policies & regulations.Planning and organizing effective practices and schedules which implement the tennis program’s philosophy and goals.Develop individual & team skills during practice sessions and throughout the season.Regard for the well-being of participants, physical/emotional/social needs. Supervision of athletes during practice/games/locker rooms, bus, etc..Communicating with parents regarding program changes & expectations of athletes.Record keeping and inventory of equipment, uniforms, and supplies.Must be eligible or working towards a NYS coaching license, including valid CPR/First Aid, Child Abuse, Violence Prevention Workshop Certificates, DASA certification and fingerprint clearance.REPORTS TO: Director & Assistant Director of Health, PE & AthleticsSALARY: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and Mamaroneck Teachers’ AssociationEthnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
