POSITION: General Education Teacher Aide - Study Hall LOCATION: Mamaroneck High School HOURS: Monday – Friday, 35 hours per week SUPERVISOR: Building Assistant Principal DATE POSITION IS AVAILABLE: October 8, 2025 RESPONSIBILITIES – General Education Teacher Aide - Study Hall: Supervision of students in various educational settings/spaces throughout the buildingSupport of all studentsCollaboration with teachers and other staff members on behalf of students’ successMonitor the health and well-being of studentsEffectively communicate with classroom teachers, staff members, and administrationWillingness to obtain and employ Crisis Prevention and Intervention TrainingData collectionAssist classroom teachers and student support staff as neededOther duties as assigned PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:A professional, patient, and calm demeanor with children of all agesExperience with managing children in a large educational setting/space COMPENSATION: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teacher Aides Unit.Salary range: $26,203 - $30,701
