POSITION: Teacher Aide LOCATION: Chatsworth Ave School HOURS: Monday – Friday, 32.5 hours per week SUPERVISOR: Building Assistant Principal DATE POSITION IS AVAILABLE: 8/29/2024 RESPONSIBILITIES Monitor the health and well-being of studentsEffectively communicate with classroom teacher and administrationWillingness to obtain and employ Crisis Prevention and Intervention TrainingData collection and implementation of behavior plansAssist daily transitions which included lunch and recessSupport of students with accommodations per their IEPCollaboration with special education teacher and other staff members on behalf of the student’s successOther duties as assigned PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:A professional, patient, and calm demeanor with children of all agesExperience with children who have attentional, behavioral/emotional, and academic challenges
