RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver speech and language therapy to students with varying abilitiesConduct comprehensive speech language evaluations for initial and reevaluation meetings through the CPSE and CSE Administer speech screenings to general education students Develop IEPs and developmentally appropriate goals Progress monitor both IEP and RTI goals Complete reports for CSE or RTI purposesParticipate in CPSE and CSE meetingsProvide consultation to teachers and teams per IEP mandates Participate in building-level Instructional Support Team (IST) meetings POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Bilingual speech therapist preferredN.Y.S Teacher of Speech and Hearing Handicapped (TSHH) or Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence Strong Evaluation and Therapy SkillsStrong organizational skills to manage a therapy caseload and working across different buildings REPORTS TO: Director of Special Education Ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
