Title: Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Substitute/Leave Replacement Location: Hommocks Middle School Supervisor: Principal Position Available: September 1, 2022 - TBD Requirements: Candidate must either hold or be eligible for N.Y.S. Teaching Assistant Certification Responsibilities: · Monitoring students in school detention or to assist with restorative interventions· Maintaining accurate student consequence and progress monitoring records· On-going communication with administration· Coordinating with teachers for academic work for students. Coordinating with counseling department with assistance for restorative interventions.· Willing to participate in job-related trainings· Managing multiple students throughout the day Compensation: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teachers’ Association.
