Position: Interim Instructional Technology Coach K-12 Location: District-wide Position Available: September 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023 Supervisor: Director of STEM, K-12 Compensation: In accordance with the Agreement between the Board of Education and the Mamaroneck Teachers’ Association. Summary of Assignment:The K-12 Instructional Technology Coach is a teacher leadership role. The Coach engages in a variety of professional activities to promote the meaningful integration of technology into the curriculum, facilitates professional development, maintains resources and equipment, provides input and recommendations regarding technology purchases, and offers feedback on ways to increase the use of technology tools to enhance student learning outcomes. Responsibilities and Duties: Provide leadership related to instructional technology across the district Support teachers K-12 with the integration of technology in their classrooms Engage staff in professional development experiences through various means Assist in the management of the instructional technology software and supply budgets Serve as a member of the district’s Privacy Compliance Team Implement and review the Instructional Technology section of the District Technology Plan Maintain the district’s fleet of iPads Update content on the district website Support programs and offices with their unique technology needs including OCRA, MHS Internship, Youth Employment Services (YES), etc. Other relevant duties or special projects as assigned by the Director of STEM, or other administrators Requirements: Appropriate New York teacher certification At least three years of teaching experience Responds well to technical and adaptive challenges Communicates clearly and effectively with various groups Possess an understanding of NYS Ed Law 2D Diverse and bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
