The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following probationary position for the 2025/2026 School Year: Speech Language Pathologist – Fulmar Road Elementary SchoolAssess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students (K-5)Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in accordance with IDEAMaintain accurate and up-to-date student records and progress reportsCollaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student successProvide speech and language therapy in individual and group settingsParticipate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and staff developmentSupport students across general and special education settingsFunction as a case manager and assist in coordinating and obtaining other needed services.Participate in MTSS meetings, collaborating with teachers and specialists to support students at all tiers (Tier 1, 2, and 3) & provide targeted interventions for students within Tier 2/Tier 3 needsNYS Speech certification requiredThree years experience working with young children as a speech/language pathologist is preferredThe Mahopac Central School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.Anyone interested in applying for the above-mentioned position should complete an application on OLAS and visit the Human Resources page of the Mahopac website no later than August 8, 2025.
