The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following anticipated probationary position for the 2025/2026 School Year: Science/Special Education Teacher – Mahopac High SchoolThe candidate must have 9-12 Science and Special Education certifications. Experience providing specially designed instruction to students with disabilities in the high school setting. Additionally, the candidate should have strong knowledge of the Secondary Science Standards. Key responsibilities will include developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans; utilizing specially designed instruction strategies to enhance learning outcomes for students; collaborating with colleagues within the Special Education and Science departments; creating a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and participation and communicating with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and needs.
