The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following probationary position for the 2023/2024 School Year: Assistant Principal – Mahopac High SchoolUnderstanding of high school master schedule construction and implementation; Oversee the coordination and administration of NYS testing protocols, including Regents testing schedule;Possess solid understanding of the academic, social, and emotional characteristics of high school students;Have experience with supervision and evaluation of teachers, including observations using the Danielson or similar rubric;Possess knowledge of PBIS, RTI, and DASA policies and procedures;Foster collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders;Possess the ability to handle disciplinary issues, record keeping, parental outreach, and other duties assigned by the principalNY State certification required: School Building Leader (SBL) or School Building Administrator (SBA)The Mahopac Central School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
