The Mahopac Central School District seeks to fill the following anticipated probationary position for the 2024/2025 School Year: Reading Teacher – Fulmar Road Elementary SchoolNYS Certification in Literacy and/or Reading requiredMaintains positive, cooperative and mutually supportive relationships with students, staff, caregivers, colleagues, district personnel and communityProvides direct instruction to students identified as eligible for reading services in individual, small group, and/or full classroom settingsConducts or participates in parent conferences and telephone conferencesPrepares program reports as required by RTI planCollaborates regularly with instructional support team and schedules RTI groups based upon baseline and progress monitoring dataConducts assessments to identify those eligible for intervention services, plans instruction to monitor progress and/or assists staff members in learning various assessment techniquesThe Mahopac Central School District is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
