Anticipated Vacancy for the 2026-2027 School Year Lyme Central School District – 11868 Academy Street, Chaumont, NY The Lyme Central School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher for an anticipated opening for the 2026–2027 school year. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and effective Spanish language instruction to students in grades 7–12, fostering communicative competence and cultural understanding. QUALIFICATIONS Must possess or be enrolled in an accredited program leading to a New York State Certification as a Teacher of Spanish (Grades 7 – 12) Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in Spanish preferred Demonstrated proficiency in the Spanish language DUTIES Provide high-quality Spanish instruction to students in grades 7–12 Develop lessons aligned with NYS learning standards SALARY Salary is contingent upon education and experience and is in accordance with the Lyme Central School Teachers' Association collective bargaining agreement.
