The Liverpool Central School District is seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our substitute team.Requirements:Candidates must successfully pass district screeningFingerprint Clearance through NYSEDResponsibilities: • Follows directions given by head teacher.• Communicates with the teacher important information about students that will assist in the development of appropriate academic assistance.• Works with individual students or groups of students on instructional projects as directed by a teacher or administrator.• Assists students in the use of available instructional resources.• Assists in the preparation of instructional materials and technology.• Assists in providing adult supervision of individual or small groups during instructional activities.• Supervises groups of students being responsible for their whereabouts and activities.• Helps teachers in carrying out various activities that lead to the emotional, intellectual and social development of children.• Assist students with personal hygiene. ie: wheelchair positioning, diaper changing, toileting, feeding, etc.• Maintains confidentiality about students, their families, and other employees outside the school.
