Custodial Worker I (Evening) Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentNYS fingerprinting clearance and background check prior to startResponsibilities:Duties will include but not be limited to: classroom service, mops, waxes, polishes, strips floors, vacuums carpets, cleans lavatories, replenishes supplies, washes windows, empties garbage cans and trash baskets, dusts and polishes furniture, book cases, paneling, light fixtures, moves furniture and equipment, may perform minor maintenance/repair, shovels snow, receive deliveries, and other tasks essential to building operations and ensuring a safe and work-friendly environment. Duties will involve ability to lift/move heavy objects.Ability to read schedules, checklists, instructions and prioritize duties based on building needs.Must be reliable, capable and dependable.Experience with cleaning, light maintenance and repair, or related custodial experience a plus.Hours:Evening hours flexible – to be negotiated. Full-time 12-month position.
