The ideal candidate will be confident in their abilities to work with a diverse, high-needs population through differentiated approaches to instruction, assessment, and behavior management in a secondary classroom. The successful candidate will develop and implement educational programs which focus on: making healthy choices; nurturing families; embracing life as you age; securing financial stability; promoting healthy homes and communities. Consumer sciences programming areas including: food and nutrition; family resource management; human development and family relations; health, safety and wellness; leadership development; clothing and textiles; housing and the environment; home based and micro business.Requirements:Appropriate NYSED Certification in FACS Will consider NYS CTE Culinary certificationWorking knowledge of the Home and Careers NYS StandardsDates of service: September 1, 2022 Interested applicants should submit apply through OLAS.
