The Lindenhurst UFSD is seeking a dynamic bi-lingual (Spanish) Social Studies Teacher, who is driven to create a classroom where students' lives are incorporated into lessons and true learning is occurring. The ideal candidate will have a strong content knowledge with the flexibility to teach all courses at the secondary level. Candidates must possess the appropriate NYS Social Studies certification with the bi-lingual extension in Spanish. Responsibilities Include: Participating in collegial meetings and initiatives Designing creative and inclusive lesson plans Engaging in professional development Taking an active role in the HS community Qualified candidates must submit a job-specific cover letter to Mr. Richard Finder, Coordinator of Social Studies.
