The Lindenhurst Union Free School District has a probationary opening for an Assistant Superintendent for Special Education and Pupil Personnel Services. This cabinet-level position will report directly to the Superintendent of Schools and oversee all aspects of the Special Education and Pupil Personnel Departments, including, but not limited to, special education teachers, administrators, related service providers, budgeting, grant writing, IEP compliance, etc. Special education teaching and administration experience is preferred, and appropriate district level administrative certification is a must.
