ELEMENTARY PRINCIPAL The successful candidate will provide the leadership necessary to promote a rigorous and comprehensive instructional program that ensures the academic, social, and emotional success of a diverse student body of students in an elementary school setting. QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent communication skills and the ability to foster collaboration among stakeholders; including parents, teachers, staff, and community, in supporting student success Prior successful years of relevant school administrative experienceThorough knowledge of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) Standards & NYS AssessmentsEnsure that staff receives high quality professional development in literacy and mathematicsDemonstrated success at implementing an APPR plan designed to raise student achievement for all segments of a diverse student body Experience with fostering an inclusive school community for all students and staff Successful experience integrating technology initiatives to increase student achievement and engagement aimed at developing 21st century skills in students Excellent human relations skills Outstanding personal and professional integrity Valid, NYS certification as School Administrator & Supervisor (SAS) or School Building Leader (SBL) Salary: In accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement of MIAA Effective Date: July 1, 2024 Deadline: January 22, 2024
