RESPONSIBILITIES: Reviews the show, understands the Director's vision, orders materials, and builds the set Works with the Producer to order necessary materials Works with students to build and paint the set Develop detailed set designs, including sketches, renderings, and scale models Ensure that all scenic elements comply with safety and structural standards Supervises the stage crew, especially when working on stage Supervises the prompt strike of the set and the organization of props/materials Assists with the creation of props if necessary Attends production meetings with the Coordinator as scheduled Coordinates with necessary personnel to ensure the stage is clear of unnecessary items before rehearsals begin Supervise the strike (removal) of scenic elements after the production’s run PERFORMANCE DATES: HS MUSICAL Friday, March 12th - 7:00 P.M.
