REQUIREMENTS: NYS Registered Nurse LicenseRESPONSIBILITIES:• Perform medical screening, assessment, and diagnosis of students• Administer medications and treatment as prescribed by a licensed healthcare provider in compliance with district policies and procedures• Provide healthcare education to students, faculty, and staff• Collaborate with medical professionals and other healthcare providers• Facilitate referrals to appropriate medical and community-based resources• Maintain accurate records of medical care• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and school policies• Educate students, staff and parents on health-related topics• Participate in IEP, 504 or student support meetings as needed.QUALIFICATIONS:• Experience as a school nurse and pediatrics is preferred• Knowledge of school health/mental health program policies, procedures, and regulations• Proven leadership, organizational, written, and oral communication skills• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, other school staff, and parents• Strong problem-solving skillsSTART: September 2, 2025SALARY: According to the LVCSD Nurses ContractINTERESTED CANDIDATES: Applicants should also upload their resume and cover letter to LVCSD using this link https://olasjobs.org/public
