The Locust Valley Central School District is looking for Teaching Assistants and Teacher's Aides (District Wide) to join our team, working with teachers in providing exceptional services and support for our students.Work Hours and Benefits:This position is a part-time position with work hours during school days. This is an hourly position. Salary is based on experience and education. This role does not offer benefits.Qualifications: Bilingual.Familiarity with school administrative tasks and learning methods.Proven leadership, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff.Ability to build a trusting relationship with students, teachers and parents.Engage students of all learning levels and grade levels.Patience and empathy.Compassionate, positive and encouraging attitude.Training and Education:Applicants have certification as a teacher's assistant. Not required for Teacher's Aide.Salary:Hourly rate starting at $17.77 (Teachers Aide) $19.02 (Teaching Assistant).
