The Lansingburgh Central School District (LCSD) is now accepting applications for a Transportation Supervisor to oversee the Transportation Department and work closely with our bus company vendor to ensure all district needs are met. This is a full-time and 12-month position. The annual salary expectation is $75,000 - $85,000 depending on the level of education, certification and/or experience. Must possess a valid NYS driver's license in good standing.Minimum QualificationsGraduation from a regionally accredited high school and either:Three years of experience in the maintenance and repair of automotive equipment; orFive years of experience in the operation of multi-passenger vehicles or the dispatching of motor equipment. Job DutiesTypical duties and responsibilities shall include but may not be limited to the following:Oversees the District's Transportation Department and provides supervision to the Transportation Coordinator.Works closely with the bus company vendor to ensure all district needs are met.Assists in the preparation of transportation reports and maps of bus routes.Arranges for all special trips including those for athletics events.Keeps a daily record of mileage and number of pupils carried.Other duties as assigned.Lansingburgh Central School District offers a highly competitive pay scale, excellent benefits and tremendous opportunities for growth.
