TITLE: School Monitor – Lunch/Recess LOCATION: George Washington Elementary School START: TBD HOURS: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm SALARY: $17.90 - $19.88 per hour EMPLOYEES NEW TO THE DISTRICT WILL BE HIRED AT THE LOWER SALARY GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Performs a variety of non-teaching duties in overseeing student activities in a school building; performs related work as required. EXAMPLES OF WORK: Under supervision, an employee in this class performs responsible work in the supervision of school children requiring the exercise of good judgment and the ability to get along well with children. Work requires the employee to be able to handle students in a courteous but firm manner. Work is performed under the supervision of principal or assistant principal.
