Lakeland Central School District is seeking a teacher aide at the middle school level to assist certified school teachers in their duties in the classroom. This employee provides assistance in direct support of a teacher and may provide one to one assistance to a student with disabilities such as taking notes, helping with mobility issues, assisting with personal care, etc. Also may provide assistance to students in equipment adaptation to facilitate learning, mobility and/or communication. Acceptable Training and Experience: Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma or an equivalent amount of experience and training sufficient to indicate ability to perform the work. Salary: $23,793 - $37,488. Employees new to the District will be hired at the lower salary.
