PROGRAM NAME: ENL Family Literacy Program ANTICIPATED VACANCY POSITIONS: ENL Family Literacy Coordinator (1)Adult ENL Teacher (1), plus subs (2)Early Literacy/School Readiness Teacher (1), plus subs (2)Academic Support Teacher (1), plus subs (2) DESCRIPTION OF PROGRAM: The ENL Family Literacy Project is an eight-week program providing English literacy and language development to Lakeland families across the district. The program will include adult ENL classes for Lakeland parents and guardians, academic support and homework assistance for our K-12 ENL students, and early literacy skills for pre-K children ages 3-5. The goal of this program is to enhance family literacy and bridge the gap between home and school for our ENL families.
