Position Title: Executive Director Special Education Location: Meagher Central Administration Effective Date: TBD Salary: Salary beginning at $150,000., commensurate with experience.Qualifications: . An administrative degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field is required.· NYS Certification as School District Leadership (SDL)· Minimum of five years' experience in the field of Special Education, inclusive of administrative leadership experience.· Thorough knowledge and understanding of state and federal laws, regulations relevant to the CPSE/CSE and the delivery of Special Education programs and services.· Experience with program development; supervision and evaluation of staff; professional development and training CPSE/CSE processes, procedures, and oversight; budget preparation and management; state reporting; federal IDEA grant preparation & management; STAC filing & management; Medicaid compliance and reimbursement; etc.· Ability to identify and analyze problems, identify solutions and exercise sound judgment in decisions that benefit students and the greater school community.· Proven experience with short and long-term planning based on data analysis and projections.· Proficiency in the Frontline IEP system and various student data management systems.· Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.· Leadership with vision, clarity, intention, and compassion.
