About this role: FFS Licensed Clinical Social Worker for early intervention, preschool and school-age children Various cases at one of the Nassau, Suffolk or Westchester County CentersFlexibility during school hours and after school hours Responsibilities: Provide individual counseling to children and/or adolescents Provide group social skills/play therapy Provide timely and appropriate assessment, interpretation, and diagnosis of mental, social, and emotional disorders in collaboration with other team members Develop and plan individualized treatment interventions and evidence-based treatment Collaborate with school staff and other school system personnel in implementing strategies to promote student learning and social development Proactively anticipate and prepare for transition-in-care due to changes in the child’s and family’s needs About You: If you have these attributes: Passionate to work with children, families and therapists Sterling values, high integrity Excellent oral and written communication skills Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality Excellent time management/organizational skills Act with humility and grace Empathetic & considerate of others Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment And this background: LCSW; Master’s in Social Work Minimum of (1) year experience working in a setting focusing on supporting children and their families Bilingual is a plus Then we are looking forward to receiving your resume!
