Location: Increase Miller Elementary School Anticipated Start Date: March 23, 2026, through June 30, 2026 Qualifications: NYS Certification Required – School Psychology or NYS Social Work License (LMSW or LCSW). Masters or Doctorate in School Psychology or Masters in Social Work (MSW). Responsibilities: School Psychologist and School Social Worker Candidates: Provide group and individual counseling. Provide crisis intervention and support students during times of emotional distress. Support school-wide social-emotional learning initiatives. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, and related service providers to support students. Attend CSE meetings. Experience with students at elementary levels is preferred. School Psychologist Candidates (in addition to the above): Experience with Psychoeducational assessment of Elementary aged students. Teacher consultation for behavior intervention. Salary: Long-term substitute teachers work 30 days or more but less than five months and are compensated $110/day for the first 30 days; on the 31 st day (assuming the prior 30 days were consecutive workdays) the daily rate is increased to $317.42, retroactive to the first day of the assignment.
