KLSD is looking for a 1:1 Aide, who is approachable, supportive, and can create a positive and nurturing environment for the children. Location: Katonah Elementary School Hours: 10 Months – 7 hours/day; 8:45am to 3:45pm Anticipated Start Date: ASAP Salary and Benefits: $32,806 as per the KLSSA contract Qualifications and Responsibilities: Possess the ability to be assertive in establishing and reinforcing boundaries to ensure a safe and structured setting.Ability to embrace feedback and work well with others.Possess a genuine love for working with and for children.Provide assistance and work with students to meet classroom expectations.Assist in prompting of students to follow routines / work production.Lifting and toileting students may be required.
