KLSD is seeking a CSE Districtwide Chairperson beginning September 1, 2026 Qualifications:NY State Certification in any of the following areas: Special Education, School Psychologist, Speech, Social Worker, Students with Disabilities (all grades). Other Special Education related certification areas may be considered.Knowledge of therapeutic resources in Westchester County.Knowledge of various assessment tools.The successful candidate will be able to:Lead and facilitate Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings K-12.Responsible for all CSE operations including referrals, chairing of meetings (re-evals, program reviews, and initials).Review student evaluations and records to guide IEP development.Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations.Oversee/follow-up with implementation of IEP’s.Other duties as assigned.Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and service providers. Hours: Full-time (10 month) Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2026Salary: $64,276 - $152,199 as per the KLDTA contract
