Location: Katonah Elementary School Anticipated Start Date: On or about February 8, 2026, through on or about April 6, 2026 Hours: Full-Time, Temporary Salary and Benefits: $110 per day for the first 30 days and then $317.42 per day after 30 consecutive days. Qualifications & Responsibilities: NYS Certification as a Special Education Teacher required.Elementary experience.Familiar with Wilson or Orton-Gillingham reading intervention programs.Prepare lesson plans that achieve clear objectives, implements specially designed instruction, and uses appropriate program modifications and accommodations.Skilled in data-driven progress monitoring with goals that are student-specific and informed by various data points.Collaborates and communicates with colleagues, parents and administration to best meet the needs of students.Knowledge of applicable federal and state laws.Skilled in developing IEPs.
