KLSD is looking for two (2) thoughtful and knowledgeable educator to serve in the probationary position of Elementary Teacher at Katonah Elementary School beginning September 1, 2025.Qualifications: NYS Certification required.Experience Teaching Grades K-6.Responsibilities: Exhibits knowledge of NY State Standards.Fosters a positive and inclusive classroom environment that prioritizes the social and emotional well-being of students and nurtures a sense of belonging.Collaborates and communicates with colleagues, parents, and administration to best meet the needs of students.Utilizes current educational research to inform instructional practices.Implements culturally relevant practices into instruction ensuring that lessons reflect the diverse backgrounds and experiences of all students.Actively participates in a professional learning community (PLC), engaging in ongoing, collaborative professional learning to refine and enhance instructional practice.Works with colleagues to analyze student data, share best practices, and implement research-based strategies that improve student outcomes. Hours: Full-time (10 month)Anticipated Start Date: September 1, 2025Salary: $62,699 - $141,489 as per the KLDTA contract
