The Katonah-Lewisboro School District is looking for a thoughtful and knowledgeable medical health professional to serve in the position of School Nurse beginning September 1, 2024. Location: John Jay Middle School Hours: 10 Months - 7 hours per dayQualifications: Registered Nurse; School experience and/or work with students preferred. Responsibilities: Works collaboratively with health care providers, students, parents, and school district staff.Collects information about the health development status of students for compliance with state immunization regulations and Board of Education policies.Performs nursing assessment for students who are ill or injured.Ability to diagnose and provide care for ill or injured students.Maintains accurate records and documentation in accordance with state and federal law, and Board of Education policies.Salary and Benefits: $62,699 - $87,056 annually as per the KLDTA contract
